Be a Muddy Mama

đŸ’Ș Be a Muddy Mama

This is more than a 5K—it’s a chance to run, laugh, and get muddy for something that truly matters.

When you become a Muddy Mama, you’re not just signing up for obstacles and laughs with your crew—you’re showing up for the girls of Girls Inc. of Washington County. Every step, splash, and muddy finish helps girls in our community grow up Strong, Smart, and Bold.

đŸ’„ What it means to be a Muddy Mama

Being a Muddy Mama isn’t about being the fastest or the fittest—it’s about showing up, trying anyway, and knowing you can do hard things.

It’s courage over comfort, teamwork over comparison, and laughter even when things get messy.

🌟 And just so we’re clear

A Muddy Mama isn’t about motherhood.

It’s any girl age 10+ or woman of any age ready to step into the mud, the challenge, and the fun. If you’re here, you belong here.

đŸ’Ș At her core, a Muddy Mama:

Shows up. Tries hard things. And proves to herself she can do more than she thought.

And in doing so, she shows girls in our community what bravery, strength, and confidence look like in real life.

If you want, I can also compress this even further into a 2–3 sentence “hero banner” version for the top of the page.

🌟 Why we run:

Girls in our community are learning to find their voice, build confidence, and believe in what’s possible for their future. Muddy Mamas helps make that happen—funding programs, mentorship, and safe spaces where girls can grow into who they’re meant to be.

So when you’re climbing, crawling, or laughing your way through the course—you’re doing it alongside them in spirit.

🏁 Ready to be a Muddy Mama?

Gather your friends, pick your wave, and show up for something bigger than the mud.

Because when you run for girls, every muddy step matters.

Be a Muddy Mama. For you. For them. For what’s ahead.

🏁 Everything You Need to Know Before You Get Muddy

We want you focused on fun—not figuring things out last minute. Here’s what to know before race day:

👟 You don’t have to be a runner

Walk it, jog it, laugh your way through it, or stick with your crew the whole time—this course is about showing up and having fun, not speed.

đŸ‘Żâ€â™€ïž Grab your crew + name your team

Half the fun starts before race day. Create a team name so your friends can find you, join you, and show up ready to get muddy together. Costumes and themed t-shirts are highly encouraged—go all out, match your crew, or come up with something wildly creative. The more fun, the better the photos (and the memories).

💜 Run for more than just the finish line

You can fundraise as an individual or as a team to extend your impact and support the girls of Girls Inc. of Washington County even further. Every dollar helps girls grow up Strong, Smart, and Bold.

đŸƒâ€â™€ïž One course, all together

Girls and women run the same course at the same time—just different registration pricing. This is one shared experience from start to finish.

👀 Bring your people

Spectators are encouraged! Invite your cheer squad, your kids, your friends, your “I’m only here for the food” crew—everyone adds to the energy!

🚗 Parking details

Parking is available at the gate for a $5 donation, which directly supports the mission. Parking is limited, PLEASE TRY TO CARPOOL!

đŸ§» Muddy Mama survival tips (you’ll thank us later)

  • Duct tape your shoes if you want them to make it to the finish line
  • Wear clothes you’re okay never emotionally recovering from
  • Expect to laugh more than you expect to run

đŸ’„ Bottom line:

Come ready for mud, laughter, community, and purpose.

Because when you show up as a Muddy Mama, you’re not just running a race—you’re lifting up girls in our community with every step.

Be a Muddy Mama. We’ll see you in the mud.
