How to Improve Your Endurance (Without Actually Running)!

Our Muddy Mamas event is meant to be fun for all, so enjoy gearing up for the day in a way that fits you. 

Here are some tips that will help you make it to the finish line faster (without having to invest extra time on the treadmill).

Dance with Your #GalPals

Get down and dirty in a Zumba class with your Muddy Mamas squad to prep for the big day! Don’t worry, no one else is a good dancer either.


Hit up HIIT

Switch it up with some high-intensity interval training! It’s quick and easily done at home without any equipment. Try this 20-minute HIIT workout and enjoy a workout that requires zero running.

Kick Some Butt

Try a kickboxing class! It’s a great way to blow off some steam AND whip your booty into shape. Because #RunningSucks.

Namaste in Bed

Here’s one for those mornings after you’ve had a few too many glasses of wine the night before… Do some yoga at home in your pajamas with the magic of YouTube! Check out Yoga for Hangovers on Yoga with Adriene. Yeah, you’re welcome.

Kale Yeah!

Eating a balanced diet means holding a salad in one hand, and a mimosa in the other.

We know some people are HYPER serious about their mud runs and prepping for the big day. But for all you first timers out there, you should know that #MuddyMamas is simply about having fun. We encourage one another on the course, and laugh hysterically at ourselves along the way.
